Totally agreed. Can't wait to start 'capping it. Was just thinking today about how this is the only card I'm going to seriously attack until Saratoga begins.

I'm going to have to call you on this one.....it's been out for over four hours.

Apparently you can wait.

it really is a hell of a card.

Cannon Shell 06-04-2008 07:36 PM

but NYRA is corrupt and bankrupt...

Like I said in the other thread, some of the allowance races are studly. Even the "boat" racing is pretty damn good too.

Nice card, but why begin the 1M guarantee P4 with a 5 horse field? Reversing races 7 and 8 should have been a no-brainer. There both Grade 1s.

hockey2315 06-04-2008 08:49 PM

I'm not complaining - especially when Zaftig wins the 1st leg.

That's actually a good point. I wonder if there was a TV obligation. I'll have to find out.

Great point, I was asking myself the same thing. It's the only semi-weak spot on an otherwise blockbuster card. Incidentally, I wonder why it drew so few? The Acorn is one race I'd REALLY love to win, if I had a filly capable of it.

Scared of Indian Blessing/Dogwood last weekend?
