i'm glad the Schuylerville is back on opening day. And I wonder if anyone will try for the Whitney/Woodward sweep.

Curt,
Glad that I could be a help. It should be a GREAT meet!

Sumitas,
I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see a Whitney/Woodward sweep.
This is H Allen J's home turf. For sure, Todd P will probably give it a shot too...heck, so many good trainers will be doing their best at Toga.
It's Christmas, Easter, the 4th of July, and everyone's birthday party!
Something that so many have waited a long time for.

In the Schuylerville, H Allen J has the #4 Becky's Flute, but I think Prado will do just fine on the #2 Expertise.
The race that I'm interested in is the 6th. Jim J puts out the #4 Memphis Mon with J Castellano aboard.

Good racing luck!!!

The 6th is shaping up as a great race...truly the race of the day. A VERY different Memphis Mon will have to show up for this heat to be even remotely competitive. Between Congo King, Star Dabbler, Political Force, Spring At Last and South of Broad this should be one helluva race.

The 7th race is pretty interesting too!! I'm the Tiger, Spooky Mulder, Vicarage, Kazoo, Awesome Twist, Spanish Chestnut... sheesh!! Nice field.

BTW,
Yes!
Helluva race!
Should be very very! But, as you know, that's what Toga is about.

You're right, the 7th is a terrific race as well.

Spooky Mulder and City Weekend seem to be the only two horses without much of a chance in there.

From 7/26 through 7/31 they have 6 straight days of racing that include a graded stakes race. A graded stakes race on a Thursday! Another one on a Monday! Does it get any better than Saratoga? I can't wait.

It gets no better than Saratoga my friend. The best six weeks in racing. There is almost nothing to dislike about the meet.

this is one of the better ideas i've heard in awhile. with one vacation i could take in two places i've never been to. i've got to think about this one for next year.
