Earlie Fires haters

Say what you will, got a hat trick today. That last ride was pretty good.

From what I hear, retirement is VERY near. He has some # in his head that he wants to attain and then hang it up, but no one I talked to knows what it is. He has been given nut mounts from Calabrese/Catalano to get him to this mark fairly quickly.

What is interesting is that today's rides were not typical Earlie rides. Good for him excelling at his age.....

I asked someone today if they knew how old he was and they had no idea.

This girl I hang with is friends with his family. Guess he is a stubborn old goat

HRTV said he was 61 when he won the last race yesterday.

Perhaps he will retire when he moves into 9th on the all-time list. Needs 8 more winners to do that.

yeah i also noticed Calabrese/Catalano throwing some business his way yesterday and he did pretty damn well.... though the majority of them were chalks. No more love for ET in the Calabrese/Catalano barn?

No, ET pissed them off. They go through jocks weekly.

Calabrese/Catalano gun for this meet, they make sharp claims in the winter and have them ready to run, Rebounded is perfect example. Dropped in for 30k they take him, knowing that the horse can dominate the allowance optionals that Arlington loves to run. This horse will win 3-4 races this summer.

But, they are abnormally hot, usually take some time to get going but they are unstoppable right now. I'll tell you this, if you catch their cold streak, you will be making a bundle of money

MISTERGEE 05-11-2008 05:40 PM

what is there cold streak about 80%?
