What exactly was the rush to bring him back for?

IrishofNDMan 04-25-2008 07:20 PM

Liriano will never be the same, he just doesn't have the same stuff on the mound that he had in 2006, and probably will never get it back. It really is a shame cause he was a good one.

My friend who played in the minors with Gardenhire spent a week at their spring training and was shocked when he heard that they expected him to contribute at the major league level this season. He had no arm strength 6 weeks ago and they expect him to pitch at the major league level?

I am with you Cannon. He is young and should have sat out this year.

He should be pitching in a low A league.

I agree or not pitching at all. Hey, I meant to ask you this a long time ago. But did you see Mike Marshall on Real Sports on HBO? If you did, how weird is that pitching motion.

He needs to throw to build arm strength but against lesser competition than the AL. I did not see Real sports. Bryant Gumbel makes me sick and Frank Deford officially looks like he may wind up getting caught in a "To catch a predator" sting.

Frank DeFord went a picked up a piece of turf at Woodbine after Secretariate's last race

The NL central has the most runs scored of any National League division

I saw it. The motion seemed very awkward, but I believed what Marshall said. The more disturbing episode was the one where they showed all the 12-13 yar olds going for Tommy John surgery.

Give them time..St Louis will not finish 500 and while the Cubs have a nice little team, they are 6-0 against the Penguins and will show their true colors..i hope:cool:

Yeah it was a bit disturbing about the 12 and 13 year olds going for surgery. I also believed Marshall. That man is pretty smart.
