It really is a shame that a horse of this talent has fallen into the ownership of a bunch of crooks.

Not really. Because of the legal mess, he gets to keep running instead of certain retirement. I hope the "crooks" tie this thing up in the court system for another year and maybe we can continue to see Curlin on the track.
