Good group of trainers there. Wish i could listen to it, but i've got to muck some stalls..lol. I love the job Walsh has done with Georgie Boy. Don't care much about the low beyer for the race. This horse can run much faster if needed, just wish you didnt have the synthetic equasion to wonder about..

Barclay could be described as... giddy.

Well, as giddy as you could imagine him being anyway...

Sometimes brilliant trainers aren't awesome interviews...Why not Nick Zito? that would be a timely spot..

Please ask Barclay Tagg about Showing Up if you don't think it will be to distracting to the Yucks we are all in for.

Steve,
If appropriate could you ask Barclay Tagg if he would be willing to offer a comment on a FuPeg 3yo by the name of Hamsa that he has back in training at Palm Meadows.

Thanks,
Dave

Dave,

Sorry... Didn't even get to Tale of Ekati let alone Hamsa!

Fred,

Nick was elusive after WINNING the Fountain... so...

And as mentioned above, I only got into Big Truck and Elysium... He'll likely be back late next week or I'll get the info from him at GP or Palm Meadows and report back...

Steve, I missed the show due to my work computer blocking the feed. What were his thoughts on Big Truck?

Man, Tagg is stacked. And he's getting some good run from all of them. Well, have'nt figured out why Tale of Akati ran so dull. That colt needs to improve on his gate breaking..

He said most importantly that he's matured slowly. He did not expect the good effort in the Sam Davis, so that was the first clue. And he only came back to Tampa because the horse liked it so much and was so effective over it in the prep. He told Coa to just try to get 2nd. He had no expectation about winning. Is thrilled with Coa and the way he's riding the barn's horses.

Was a regular Chatty Cathy..
