Boy oh boy, just got home and my latest ebay acquisition was waiting for me in the ole mailbox -- the opening day (after it was rebuilt) and closing day programs for Garden State Park! First track I ever visited. You really do remember your first time.

I still have one of my very first programs from going to Erie Downs with my father back in 86 I think.Terrible track, but great memories. I also have a picture of Woody Stephens and myself from my first visit to Saratoga...Forty Niner's win...and of course my favorite horse of all time, Easy Goer the following year, he was a monster. My favorite piece is an awesome moneigh done by Ogygian.

I belive I have the ""opening day giveaway "" pens they passed out on opening (rebuilt) evening.... I Still remember the old one burning down and seeing the sky filled with smoke.. Plus a few Spend-A-Buck posters after the jersey derby victory and winning the bonus..
