Why the venom for Jess Jackson?

I can see having issues with the jailbird owners. I can see issues with Assmussen.
I know that JJ has been pretty tough in taking on the KY hardboot establishment and has not exactly played by "their rules." It's not like the sales industry is not the most deceptive and dirty part of the industry. It's worse than anything some trainer puts over us frothing horseplayers. They swich equipment or tell a jock "don't punish him" and we are scream over our $2 or $50. The sales folks do far worse and investors in the game (to the tune of millions) get discouraged and walk away.

I never met the guy. I really have no opinion at all. Why the hatred?

maybe many just find him to be hypocritical. or maybe feel he only cares about transparency when he's the one supposedly getting the shaft?

The guys speaks out against the problems drugs cause in the game while employing the biggest known cheater of them all in Asmussen. The hypocrisy is putrid.

oh, and luckily for all of us, and curlins owners, that the assman got new mexico to hold off suspending him for a second six month period last january to june, eh?

Jackson was calling for transparacy at the sales while selling horses with multiple outfits without putting his name on the page. Of course there is sight of him and Steve "holding hands" at the sales while Assmussen was under a 6 month suspension. And the fact that he has used lawsuit/govt intervention tactic in some of the other ventures makes people suspicious. I know the details of one of his suits and though I cant say too much I will say that he made a deal himself that turned out to not be so great so he sued the other party, assuming they would simply back down than spend the money in a legal battle, and was astonished when they fought back.
