his voice used to drive mrs d. crazy! the biggest steelers cheerleader and 5 seconds later call them bums. a BIG part of the steeler family is now gone.

He was quite humorous despite calling them the "cleve brownies"! A good guy despite having the misfortune of being a Steeler fan.

...My personal fave was when he would start referring to the "Cincin-nata Bungles" during a broadcast (they would talk him down during the commercials until he knocked it off)

Being that I used to live near the Steel City, it was an honor to listen to Mryon all the time. He will be sadly missed by all of of us who support our beloved Steelers.The WTAE chanel 4 website has some very good tribute videos to him.
