In need of some good thoughts.

my dad goes wednesday morning for surgery for a stomach aneurysm. Dr. found it before it made him sick and the Dr thinks surgery should go pretty well and dad's health is pretty good. i just figure it never hurts for some extra good vibes.:)

Update.

dad didn't get to come home thursday. he was running a low grade fever and they had no signs of infection. they thought he was getting the flu. 11pm thursday night they took him back up to surgery. a stitch inside him was leaking, he need 4pts. of blood. mom called at 6am and said he was feeling MUCH better.
THANKS EVERYONE for thinking of him !!

The same thing happen after my dad's surgery, expect the blood was gathering outside where the colon was remove. He had a fever also. Sometimes surgery on an older person is tougher after it's done.

Danzig 02-22-2008 07:57 AM

hopefully no more problems, and he's home in time to watch kickin on tv!

somerfrost 02-22-2008 10:36 AM
