Eight Belles

WOW ! Just watched the replay.

I am not sure what she beat but the 13.5 length margin of victory was the largest in a stakes event in Oaklawn's 104-year history. She won her previous race at Fairgrounds by 15 lengths. Same connections as Hard Spun.

Will take on unbeaten Pure Clan in her next race (Honeybee on March 16). Looks like Larry Jones has a couple of nice fillies lining up for the Oaks.

I never assume that any Unbridleds Song will have a "next race."

The race was run in two divisions. She was .34 seconds faster than Sky Mom, the winner of the first division.

Good observation! I still think Pure Clan is the best filly on the grounds at Oaklawn.;)

I hope for the sake of the division that's not true. Are they still timing her races with an hourglass?
