I sure as hell hope that Rodriguez lands Pryor.
Whatever school that the Jeanette High star goes to, they are automatically propelled to the top. It would be a tragedy to the Blue fans to have to face him if he chooses to be a buckeye.

I think people that actually follow this are in desperate need of something in their lives.

Mortimer 02-06-2008 06:08 PM

I hope he DOES go to Michigan..or anywhere but here. I've never seen such a media HO since Thebby.

Oh my God.

There I go again.

How is it any different than following Derby hopefuls in January?

I don't do that either.

These are kids, most of whom won't do diddly squat even at the college level.

wish Bama could have picked up a couple more linemen and LB's and shorted themselves on skilled guys this year.
the #1 ranked recruiting class is nice but prove it to me on the field. nd was ranked #8 two years in a row and they went 3-8 and were lucky to win 3 games. they were #2 this year. if read through their signers. they still didn't get many linemen and thats where they got abused the worst the past 2 season. their line play is awful.

Yeah then how do you explain Clarett and Tebow?

But the linemen and lb'ers we picked up are solid. 9-3 or better next season.

7-5, 8-4 at best. murphy's size will help the D-line right away. lb's will be young again this season. we need to find someone to step up and run the new offense. i like to see mcelroy win the job but fanuzzi has a nice arm too. i'm afraid jpw's confidence is shot.

This man knows his diddly squat.

What's crazy is the University of Minnesota getting a top 20 recruiting class after a 1-11 season last year. Our coach Tim Brewster is a big-talker... I'm just hoping he's learned to coach over the off-season.

My favorite moment has been the kid from Reno, NV that held a news conference to announce his decision between two Pac-10 schools. The problem was the neither school was recruiting him. In fact, they hadn't even heard of him. He admitted later that he had made the whole thing up.

rated 3rd best class in the big10. i think minesota made a big mistake firing glen mason. brewster might be a better recruiter but mason could coach.

pmayjr 02-07-2008 09:48 PM

Very true... he was fired with mixed emotions here, but the team had stagnated. He could never win the big game, and he blew some huge leads. He also came off as arrogant to a lot of people, so there was a lot not to like.

Now that it's a year later, I still don't know if it's the right move. I will say that he doesn't get most of these recruits that Brewster has borught in. Glen was about finiding diamonds in the rough and making them good players. For O-lineman and running backs I never worried, but other positions always concerned me.

Best rated RB in the Nation takes Colorado over Texas.
Damn.

We had an off year.

These children do get far to much attention
playing games with the hats. comedy.
