Scuds,

Haven't received reports since a possible surgery on Jan. 12th. It possibly could had been Tommy John as he was a candidate for it since Sept.

Just know of him. Its not like its Zach Duke getting married here at Cambridge CC or anything with Matt Capps as his best man and Gorzelanny ruining the golf course.

A decent pitcher, who broke out in 2006 with the Com-Padres. Had a down year last year. Gave up a lot of hits even though he still got away with a decent ERA. We'll see if 2006 was a fluke.

Yeah...we were talking about that yesterday. But...nature of the business. Still hard to be too upset about being a middle reliever in the bigs...even if he is only making league minimun.

Crown@club 02-05-2008 05:28 PM

Well thats MLB for you. He's not arbitration elgible until 2010 and that carries 3 years unless the Padres (or if traded) buys it out through the 1st or 2nd year of free agency which won't begin for him until 2013.
