Humane Society Contribution
 

The Humane Society of the United States spends no money on pets, shelters, etc. They are a lobbying group only, with the stated purpose (from their President) of ending animal sports and animal ownership. They support all anti-animal legislation in the US. See their history in California the past 10 years, and during hurricane Katrina.

Thus their contribution to the "opposition" in this fight.
