Nownownow to Ireland

not many horses in training transfer from the US to Ireland but apparently the BC Juvi Turf winner is moving to David Wachman's yard. He could be very interesting this season!

from racingpost and http://www.jourdegalop.com/pages/index.php:

REPORTS from France suggest that Nownownow , winner of the inaugural Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf last year, is to be transferred to David Wachman's yard in Tipperary in March.

According to jourdegalop.com, the move continues the reorganization of affairs following the suspension of US-based trainer Patrick Biancone last year.

Nownownow, whose training passed into the hands of Biancone's assistant, François Parisel, days before the Breederrs' Cup contest at Monmouth Park in New Jersey, is owned by Fabien Ouaki's Fab Oak Stable.
It is believed the reason for the transfer to Ireland will accommodate the three year-old's aptitude for turf on the soft side.

Nownownow's aim may well be the Classics in Britain and Ireland. As the Juvenile Turf was not accorded graded status, Nownownow will be unencumbered by weight penalties in the trials.

As for the remainder of Fab Oak's horses, they remain in training with Parisel at the private centre of Hurricane Hall in Kentu

Seems like a great opportunity to show the world just how mediocre our supposed top turf horses really are.

He got scared when he saw Big Brown back on the worktab. (although he hasn't worked since the 28th of December)

Yeah, I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, that Big Brown hasn't reappeared yet.

he's not that bad lads.. on soft/heavy/bottomless ground which he'll be pretty much guaranteed to get in Ireland this spring, he'll be good..

He's far from a bad horse.....and even farther from a good horse.

If his MAIN competition doesn't get a clear run, he's good enough to get the job done. Isn't that what your typical good horse does these days?

apparantly, David Wachman has heard nothing about Nownownow moving to him so there are still questions to where the horse will be this season..
