I don't know who you take out, but I think Carl Nafzger deserved a long look for trainer of the year...

Coach Pants 01-04-2008 02:24 PM

I don't see how they can leave out Dale Baird.

philcski 01-04-2008 02:37 PM

Too bad Fab Strike didn't run in the BC.

cmorioles 01-04-2008 02:41 PM

FS for sprinter.

philcski 01-04-2008 02:48 PM

How the F did Billy Mott not make it on to the trainer list??

Thunder Gulch 01-05-2008 08:24 AM

The categories for the actual horses are as cut and dried as I've seen them in years. Only one or two divisions are open to any debate whatsoever.

C'mon man...
I'm not even that delusional. I was arguing his career, total body of work. But I will give you the option of 1 middle finger or 2 if you really wanna ignore that supposed truce we had lol.

King Glorious 01-05-2008 02:23 PM

I thought Smokey Stover should have been the third finalist for sprinter instead of Idiot Proof.

That does take me back. Any trainer that was suspended in 2007, how can they be in the running for an Eclipse ?

The Bid 01-05-2008 02:39 PM

I agree, Smokey or Benny the Bull. Idiot Proof deserved a hamsandwich

blackthroatedwind 01-05-2008 06:42 PM

How can there not be an eclipse category for Vet of the Year?

The Bid 01-05-2008 06:43 PM

Yeah it is C, still its a great honor to be at the Eclipse even if you do not win. Idiot Proof is fresh off a head jerking by In Summation
