Name This Horse

Not sure where this thread should go exactly, but I figured I would try here. If anyone likes coming up with names your help would certainly be appreciated. The filly needing a name is by Military and out of a mare named Labyrinth who is by Lord Avie. Every name I've come up with so far is taken. Thanks for any help in advance.

Not bad at all. I was wanting to incorporate something to do with a Labyrinth if possible. That would do it.

What about the biggest military labyrinth....The Pentagon? Or just Pentagon.

I like that as well. I've been trying to think of a name that was only 1 word. It doesn't have to be 1 word, but I like the idea.

well, i guess depending on your political leaning, you could always go with-
Irack.

Ok. Thanks for the suggestions. Keep them coming if you have more. I checked with Jockey Club and all of them are available except Pentagon.

How about Admiral Labyrinth? Or some sort of other rank, Captain, General, Private, etc...

Ariadne

"According to the legend, Minos attacked Athens after his son was killed there. The Athenians asked for terms, and were required the sacrifice of seven young men and seven maidens every nine years to the Minotaur. One year, the sacrificial party included Theseus, a young man who volunteered to come and kill the Minotaur. Ariadne fell in love at the first sight of him, and helped him by giving him a magic sword and a ball of the red fleece thread she was spinning, so that he could find his way out of the Minotaur's labyrinth."

Geez Pat, calling the horse a rat before it hits the track. That's rough.

ManilaRose 01-06-2008 02:39 PM

Haha. Tunnel Rat. Sounds like a fast horse to me. The Ariadne name is interesting. Labyrinth's dam is named Ariadne's Crown. I guess that explains the connection of their names.
