Alright, before we discuss any strategies regarding this new wager...

Let's have everyone here give us their stone-cold five horses in order.
The one with the most in the top 5 wins.

A one shot deal.

ArlJim78 12-25-2007 10:24 PM

strange, not often do you see a race with four horses going blinkers off.

Cold Super High 5 (reminds me of Lotto Quick Pick... LOL)

1 - 6 - 8 - 13 - 4

Heels1989 12-26-2007 03:28 AM

13-4-7-8-6

Good luck

1-4-7-12-13

After looking at the past performances,
this is pretty much the type of a race that I expected
when I first read about the Super High 5 wager.

Folks are going to have to learn to get used to these
full fields of maiden claimers throughout the SAX winter meet.

I have one solid opinion among my top 5.
#1 Salty Scholar will be gunned from the rail
for as long as the CushionTrack will carry him.
He may not win but should hang on for a top 5 placing.

The longshot I'd key around on would be #12 Forest Edge.
Trainer Carla Gaines has clicked off-the-bench on numerous occasions
with sprinters and the presence of Joe Talamo may add to that
gaudy 64% in the money combination between the trainer/jockey.

A wide trip going into the turn may spoil the fun,
but at 12/1 ML it's probably worth it.
I'm not playing in real life, but waiting for a future carryover.
Won't hurt me if I practice here would it?

This is like going to the movie store to get five movies...

9-12-4-6-1

Never will play this bet for real.....unless I hit it today.

Spyder

what approach will you take ...

for me like a cheapo super
12-8 with 12-8 with 4 - 11 with 4-11..then 1/2/3 under for the last slot.. a few diff tix .. if its your day ..kind of thinking

Hey, not too bad... we had trifecta box buried in this series. Do you think 1-2-3-4-5 will be most played combination? I understand this is popular with Lotto players!

I was not even close here.
The single Salty Scholar was burned into submission by a Wally Dollase dropper
Danny Templeton (IRE) who hung on very well for second.

Splits of 21 1/5 43 3/5 sounds like a Breeders Cup Sprint, no?
I'll look for him again to be a key horse next month for Brian "Hoovergetthekeys" Koriner.
