Reds trade Josh Hamilton to the Rangers

Not a bad trade at all if you ask me. I know Hamilton had a nice year, but the Reds are really deep in the outfield and they desperately need pitching. The Reds get right-hander Edinson Volquez and Minor League left-hander Danny Herrera.

Hamilton is a superior talent but has a lot of question marks surrounding him and always will. The pitchers the Reds got have live arms which is something that they really need.

He had the potential of being an all time great. I really enjoy watching him play. But like u said, the reds need pitching.

Come on now, he is a good player, but never would get into the hall of fame

He is scary good but will probably never string together enough healthy years for HOF status. Though he is ahead of Garvey at the moment.

I said he HAD the potential of an all time great. He is only 26 so he might be able to string together a couple of good years. He lost almost 7 years of his baseball career to drugs. If he remained cleaned, he could have broken into the majors at the age of 20.
