Rowand to SF, Peavy gets extended
 
On the surface good moves. Rowand patrolling center will be a help to the Giants good, young group of starters despite the dip in his numbers sure to come about moving from Philly to SF.

Peavy signed a fair deal that should be good for all parties.

i like the giants and am glad they finally made a move. things were looking mighty bleak. and its still going to be another tough year for them. rebuild...rebuild....rebuild. luv them young arms!!!!!!

Rowand, Wynn and Roberts......have combined for 2 showings of OBP above .800 only twice since 2005 season.

Rowand will prove to be a bust (I believe). I think his offensive numbers will decline in that ball park.
