I guess Bonham's kid played the drums. It sounded like their roadies had no idea what the hell they were doing when setting up, lots of screaching and noise within the mic.

I also found it odd them playing Stairway as the 3rd song of the 2nd set, I asked my dad if this was something they always did and he said no, I would think after not playing for so long that they would play it at the end of a set, make it more memorable. The rendition of No Quarter was pretty good.

My friend is looking for better quality right now. I guess some videos made it to Youtube but were yanked right away.

yeah that would be jason bonham, he played with plant and page before when they did a few shows back in the 90's without jones.

sounds like they were getting alot of feedback maybe when they were testing the sound-mic.

i find that a odd place also to put in in the middle of a set. esp the 2nd, i assume they did 3 or 2?

you want to end with a kicker , did they finish with rock and roll or whole lotta love? didnt check the ending.

let me know if your friend finds better quality?

It pains me to see such a sacreligious reference.

Please, I beg you, say he got involved with the musicians that used to play with Jerry Garcia.

He was part of Phil Lesh and friends and also played with the Allman Brothers. I thought he played with Garcia but he did not.

They do some good covers every once in a while. It is cool because they played a couple songs that I never would have heard live because half the covered group are dead. They are just a feel good jam band. And there is nothing better then some hippee chicks all tabbed up.

You knew what I meant by tabbed? I wasn't sure anyone would have any idea. That stuff is pretty hardcore. (Lysergic acid diethylamide)

I saw Jimmy Herring play with the sanctimonious Phil Lesh a few times. Other than a smattering of guests ( Steve Stills being the most memorable ) I don't think I ever saw Garcia share the stage with another lead guitarist.....and I saw him hundreds of times.

So I take it you are not a Phil Lesh fan?

I am not very knowledgable about the Grateful Dead or Garcia for that matter.
