Why o why would a person in the secondary open his mouth before playing this team? The guy has put together a team that thrives on vengance. Thats just stupid. I dont know who that guy was in the secondary, but he got himself burned about 6 times.

Probably something like "all day long kid..." The Patriots are good enough to dispence with any secrets.

I think Coach B would have targeted him regardless. The fact that he opened his mouth may have got him a few extra looks though.

Would anyone be surprised to see the Pats put 70+ up on the Jets in their next game? Knowing how Belichick does things and with it being the Jets that started the whole spying thing, I see an ass kicking of major proportions coming. It's going to be great.

I like The Sports Guys idea of making the punter inactive going into the game. I hate the Patriots and Belichick but that would be pretty darn funny. And Mangini knows he'd deserve it.

BTW, not only did Mangini rat out his mentor but he did it in completely the wrong way. Can you imagine if he had waited until this game to reveal that the Patriots were spying on their opponents? The entire season would be tarnished as everyone would doubt what they had accomplished so far. As it is no one is doubting that the Patriots can win without cheating since the only game they cheated was the Jets who are one of the worst teams in the league. It would have been ten times the story it was when it initially broke. Everyone would assume the Patriots were only so good cause of cheating.
