Speaking of pen color. What are people's preferred color to use. I personally have three colors that I use.

Red to mark the heck out of the DRF. Green to emphasize a horse I really really like and then Purple to discount a horse. My DRF looks like a x-mas tree.

I used to sit with a greek guy who refused to be at the same table if I was using a red pen. He was a little compulsive as everything had to be in a set place. Also HATED losing tickets anywhere but a back pocket or in the garbage NEVER on the table. And never held live tickets in his hand while the race was in progress.

Sure it wasn't Garciaparra?

dellinger63 07-12-2006 07:29 PM

not unless he was 100lbs heavier then. Mia and Garciapara at one time were house shopping in Lake Geneva (summer home) but never bought.
I'm glad cause the property they were looking at was bought by Jimmy Buffet. Says a lot for Geneva Lake though.

Get PPs on-line, leave them on laptop, make notes in black in on notebook paper. Sometimes use pink or yellow highlighters. Mark changes, important facts by circling with red ink.

Pencil only.
That way I can erase any of the smart the things I wrote down when I first capped the race and replace them with my sure-to-be-wrong 2nd guesses.
