Anyone who says that Feely gives the Eagles a better chance of winning this game clearly does not watch football.
The answer lies in the play calling. When Feely is at the helm, Mornhinweg dials down the offense big time, using an array of running plays. It's not Mcslabbs fault that they make him throw as many times as he does.
Opposing defenses stuff the box when AJ is in there, daring the Eagles to beat them through the air. Westbrook's best part of his game is his elusiveness, and that noone gets a real clean shot at him. When teams stuff the box, he finds a small hole, puts a juke or two in there and opens the field up. He is second to none when it comes to that. This opens up huge wholes that Donny doesn't have the luxury of throwing into. If they ran the ball with DMac in there half as much as they do with AJ, the results would be the same. They have one of the best offensive lines in the game WHEN THEY ARE MOVING FORWARD. Dropping back into pass protection isnt their strongsuit.
This would all be a moot point if they dialed Westbrook 28-32 times a game with Mcnabb under the center. I blame the coaching when it boils down to it. Take the GDamn pressure off of him and run the frickin ball more. The run sets up the pass. Teams don't bite on the Eagles play action when Mcnabb is in, because they know it's just that, a play fake. Wake up and smell Andy's unwiped bunghole Marty. Use them big galoots and run the ball more and we wouldnt be having this conversation.
With this said, Eagles cover on Sunday night. lol....Sorry for the long rant.
