I dont know who is worse...
Norv Turner, AJ Smith for hiring him or me for thinking that they could stay within 11 points of Jacksonville...

turner's an excellent coordinator whose repeatedly shown he rises to his level of incompetence as a head coach. you just made a bad bet. smith chased off a solid head coach whose only problem was a perception based on on a small example (can't win a big game). my answer would be different if you had included alex spanos in the choices. |

Norv Turner always sucked. Cannon Shell could have coahed that Dallas offense. Hell, Barry Switzer won a Super Bowl there, it ain't like it took a ton of genius to coach that team.
Norv won 10 games once as a head coach; he lost 10+ games in four seasons. Norv sucks, Cam Cameron sucks. Marty Schottenheimer is out of work. Life is funny. |

Why are they even playing the season? The Pats are so much better than any team that's ever played this game, it's almost embarassing. They're completely dismantling my Buffalo Bills right now, who have played quite well lately.
They're going to be a 20 point favorite in the SUPER BOWL for God's sake. |

This is the only information I could find, this is the 2006 cap info....If anyone can find the 2007 info, it would probably be better. http://www.theredzone.org/caproom.asp It is unbelievable what they are doing |

What would even be scarier is if they ran more than 5 or 6 of the same plays over and over again. They will be more than 14 point favs over Dallas. At least 17, maybe more. And if they have no injuries, you should give the points without hesitation.

The Pats still have Baltimore in the shadows standing in the way of their perfect 19-0 season....
They should have both of their '06 Pro Bowl corners finally back healthy and effective for that game - and a potentially healthy Chris McAlister will be huge in that game...a 6' foot 2 inch very physical corner who's been to multiple Pro Bowls and has an almost 40 inch vertical leap - he might be the only guy in the league who has half a prayer guarding Moss one-on-one in the redzone. In order to have a chance with Moss in the redzone - you need two fairly high quality players commited to stopping him. If McAlister - who played him as well as anyone before - is up to that tall task....New England's offense won't look nearly as mighty as it has looked all season. Wes Welker will look like the reciever who had a combined one touchdown catch in the three years from '04-to-'06 ... Donte Stallworth will also be accounted for. And - the Pats running game and tight ends won't be highly effective in Baltimore...with that D-line and core of linebackers. Brady will inevitably force a few throws and make a mistake. They will have to settle for a lot of field goals and even a few punts. It could look like the one magical last stand for the Ravens D. The running game of Baltimore could be OK - and if they can get a few big lucky passing plays, score a touchdown on special teams, and score one on defense...they might have a shot. I see a fully healthy Patriots who aren't resting starters between 95-to-100% to beat any team at home. The Ravens - playing some of the worst football in the leauge right now - still have a rock solid 8-to-10% chance of beating NE if they can get fully healthy on D. |

Lets face it that this isn't the 2000 super bowl champs Ravens Defense. They are just not that good. But, Everybody is entitled to thier own opinion. Also I just can't envision that KYLE BOLLER is going to be the one that derails the Pats train. |

Its a good thing AJ got rid of Marty.... since he ONLY won in the Regular season and didnt win in the post season....... But [ unless Im wrong here]
Dont you need to win in the reg. season to GET to the Post season ? After watching Norm coach the Silver & Black.. Im VERY happy he got the bolts job !!!!!! :D |
The only way the Patriots lose this season is if Belicheck keeps running up the score on everyone. One of these games the opposition is going to get pissed and start taking cheapshots. When Brady or Moss get carted off Belicheck won't look so smug, it will be his fault. The once proud Ravens defense might be embarassed enough to do it.
