Saturday @ The Big M

give the t-breds a rest tonight and play some harness.

Be interesting to see if Donato Hanover can get his 20th straight win tonight in the 5th.

That Cat Manzi is such a crook. You can only bet him at Freehold.

Yeah...that horse showed none of the kick he normally does. Sears moved a bit too soon on that 4 for my liking.

Defeated by Arch Madness. D.H. was hurt being 1st over for the first 1/4 mile. Made all the difference in the world.

Just saw Donato Hanover get beat...! Hadn't seen him run, and I catch the race and he loses for the first time in how many races? 14?

He won his first 19 races this year Steve...winner sat a perfect trip to get him by a head.

SentToStud 11-17-2007 08:06 PM

he'd won his last 19.

Show pool $171k. Donato $164k.

and they made their .05 on the dollar:rolleyes:

Arch Madness is no slouch. He was 1st or 2nd in his last 7.(all stakes series type races) DH was game in the stretch, especially after being parked out for a half mile. Despite the loss I still think that he is a freak.

I think if I get a second chance at life...I want to come back with a name like Trond Smedshammer. Coolest name alive...

Arch Madness is no slouch, but he was razor sharp and Sears took advantage.

Yeah, they did. Myself, I never have understood the attraction of large show wagers.

You can't get 5% interest from your bank for two minutes work; then again the bank doesn't make you run around the block to get it.

I don't get it either Bruce...to each his own I guess.

Sears taught the boys how to drive last night. Won 6 of the first 10 races on the card.

You think he is better on 1 mile tracks vs 1/2 mile?

What do you think?

I think he is and I believe it has to do with his sesnse of timing. Im glad The Big M has started up. Only harness track I like more is Balmoral.
