Met Chuck Simon, Churchill, Kentucky Downs D Wayne Lucas

Short but sweet post as I am at a friends house in Kentucky en route to another destination, destination unkown cause thats how this vacation is planned, no plans.

Great meeting you Chuck at Churchill on Tuesday. My kinda cat as he is low key and laid back. Hope you did not mind me popping into the Horsemens area, an area I was not supposed to be, to meet you.

Once again I am reminded, after spending more time at Churchill, how much I love that place, every inch. It was flipping cool as hell that we got to meet D Wayne Lucas, the essence of GQ. I swear one of my goals in life is to gain membership to the Turf Club.

We stopped by Kentucky Downs on the way to Nashville. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? 6 days A YEAR OF LIVE RACING? This track has this beautifull brick building for simulcast. A great turf course. Whats the deal? A grandstand that holds 50 people maybe?

Out and still reeling from the Colts giving it away........

The Chuck has been "hiring" lately, his new stable coat is going to be a mink with a fedora...kind of like Huggy Bear meets Kojak
