Gotta root for Guid in this one

Cannon Shell 11-08-2007 10:43 AM

Is the Mrs. Revere really 'sticky' worthy?

declansharbor 11-08-2007 09:14 PM

Gotta Have Her with The Mig in the irons.
Her Del Mar Oaks wasnt as bad as it looks on paper. She'll be a square price too, with Bit Of Whimsy and Bel Air Beauty in the race. If Costume doesnt scratch, she'll take some money as well.

Bel Air Beauty's last race was so impressive that I would find it difficult to bet against her in this spot if she is close to her 4/1 morning line.
That race was at this distance, her progress on the turf has been remarkable, and she has continued to work well after that start.

That is very true. I had forgotten how wide she was the entire way around the course but after watching the replay again this morning I was reminded of the trip. I was also impressed by her run in the Pucker Up which came on a hard turf course that was favoring speed if I remember correctly. She was wide that day and finished well when the winner was not going to lose under any circumstances.

She'll be tough tomorrow but I'd expect a lot of sentimental money on Guidry in the final ride. That being said, Bit of Whimsy will still be the favorite.

I'll take CIAO. Desormeaux comes in to ride. She beat older last out while the two races before she had some kind of trouble.

This is the Thorograph ROTW, for those interested. Playing against high-weight Bit of Wimsy. A couple long ones look good, led by Tensas Yucatan. Bel Air Beauty is very dangerous.

Costume looks like a nice one as well.

Sorry to start a new thread on this by mistake. Couldn't figure out how to delete it, so moderators, feel free

I was on Tensas Yucatan before I looked at Thorograph, their focus on him won't dissuade me. So much for the 15-1
