Yeah, I heard there was some, ummm..... tension after Douggie decided to stay with Packing Winner.

Beadman and Nunes (your favorite  :D ) have been doing the Viva 2 workouts with Able One as his partner.

Sorry but every time the two Vivas are in the same race i root for Macau.

Hope my boy Bullish Luck and Syllabus (the most giving horse in Hong Kong :) ) do well but I'd agree, Vital King is a nice pick.

NO pick... I like too many here but I'll be screaming if Bullish Luck can do it.

Good luck!

Is "has been promoted" the same as also eligible?

Best of luck to you!

He hasn't won in quite some time BUT he's Viva Pataca's new workout partner and wow... he'd pay huge!

He's had some health issues but he's capable. :)

His finest moment.....

Racing Incident Report
As the gates opened, AGILITY reared and as a consequence lost a considerable amount of ground. In the early stages, EGYPTIAN RA, which was proving difficult to settle, raced ungenerously, got its head up and hung out. At the 1400 Metres, SYLLABUS and VIVA PATACA raced tight inside the hindquarters of EVER BRIGHT. Near the 800 Metres, BULLISH LUCK, which commenced to improve its position towards the inside of VITAL KING (B Prebble), was steadied away from the heels of that horse which shifted in when not properly clear. In the circumstances, B Prebble was reprimanded and told to exercise greater care. Throughout the race, EVER BRIGHT travelled wide and without cover. VIVA PATACA and PACKING WINNER were sent for sampling.

Costly start to day for Prebble and Yeung

ALAN AITKEN
Top jockey Brett Prebble and apprentice Thomas Yeung Kai-tong ended yesterday with penalties for two charges each of misconduct after an incident on the track boiled over into a confrontation in the jockeys' room.
Chief steward Jamie Stier said that, with no video evidence available of either incident, verbal evidence was the basis of Prebble leaving the track $70,000 lighter and Yeung departing with a three-day ban and a $10,000 fine, after the two pace-making riders from the opening event were ready to lock horns soon after the race.

The pair had virtually shared the front running at a hot pace in the event before Bliss Star finished fourth and Silly Boy dropped out, but Stier said that was when the problem began.

"As the field was easing down after the race, Prebble rode Bliss Star towards Silly Boy and, when he did, Thomas Yeung was struck by Bliss Star's head," the chief steward said. "Yeung responded by hitting Bliss Star in the region of the head with his whip."

Both pleaded not guilty to misconduct, but Prebble copped a $50,000 fine for his action and Yeung $10,000, but there was more to come.

"Having returned to the jockeys' room, Yeung then confronted Prebble and pushed him," Stier said. "Prebble retaliated in kind, pushing back at Thomas Yeung. For these two actions, each rider pleaded guilty to a misconduct charge and Yeung was suspended for three days, commencing after Sha Tin this Wednesday, and Prebble was fined an additional $20,000."

How pathetic is that.

I can understand it from a young jockey (although i'm not saying it's right), but BP...... i'm sorry, but what a prat. How old is he?

Correct me if i'm wrong, but this isn't the first time he's done something like this, is it?

If he's 37 he needs to grow up.
