Fire the camera crew

The ESPN camera was only on Pyro for the whole stretch drive!! I know War Pass was a runaway winner but....I would have liked to enjoy his victory!!!!

lol, they blew that. this race course is so speed biased it's like the first 2 races were replays of each other.

Cannon Shell 10-27-2007 12:20 PM

Or maybe the 2 best horses won?

Cannon Shell 10-27-2007 12:21 PM

Like they did 3 weeks ago?

sumitas 10-27-2007 12:21 PM

we shall see won't we...:)

yeah... it's not like the winners were 20/1 bombs... they were top horses with early speed running styles...

There is no better interview than Cornelio

Cannon Shell 10-27-2007 12:25 PM

The Manny Ramirez of horse racing

TheSpyder 10-27-2007 12:26 PM

What did he say? I saw it and I'm still tryin to sort it out

Merlinsky 10-27-2007 12:28 PM

This is the second year in a row somebody's botched the Juvenile. Last time you didn't get Street Sense called on the lead until he was a few lengths in front. At least Trevor couldn't really avoid calling the front runner so there wasn't a repeat but leave it to the camera guys to think we particularly care how far back the mud encrusted also rans were before the winner crossed the line. As if you could tell which horse was which....

What about Trevor calling it a 2 horse race at the top of the stretch? Warr Pass was almost out of the screen by then.

Scav 10-27-2007 12:34 PM

You know he desperatly wanted to talk about sprouting wings

sumitas 10-27-2007 12:39 PM

that was startling. where's the 2nd horse i wondered ?:)

SentToStud 10-27-2007 12:42 PM

between the cameras, the announcing and the mud, it's tough to tell what's going on. Could use the Woodbine chicklets today. Or, better yet, Georgeff.

Ah missed that one. I was too busy grumbling about the 'that's not War Pass you idiots, he's off the bloody screen!'

Did Hank come up with some drinking buddies? Is that what this mess is caused by?

Cannon Shell 10-27-2007 12:50 PM

One positive is Hank gives his picks with like 7 minutes to post meaning that if he likes your horse you pass the race and if he doesn't send it in!
