Joe Bravo doesn't get much respect

Park Avenue Ball (15-1) in the Dirt Mile, Commentator (12-1) in the Sprint, and Prop Me up (50-1) in the Distaff. I think Joey B. got

He is lucky its his home track or he probably would have got nothing at all.

The ML is based on the ability of the horse(s) as the oddsmaker anticipates their wagering. While the rider(s) enter in to the betting equation for the public, the ML odds are hardly a reflection on the respect anyone has or doesn't have for Joe Bravo.

Joe will win during the 11 race card...........

If you plan on wagering on Joe's mounts, you should be thrilled by those possible odds, not worried about his respect.

I think Joe Torre would disagree. :) It's apparent, Joe was not considered to ride any fav's. While he is the most expeirenced rider in Monmouth, he did manage to pick up some mounts from the hard work of his agent. If Jerry Bailey was given a 50-1 shot to ride, and he was no 1 rider, you would not be saying the same thing.

you lost me. Jerry Bailey was on Arguanes (sp?)
he was 130-1

you think he went off 130-1 because of the jock or the horse?

I hit a nice one Comeonmom at 55-1 with Joe Bravo once. There's been several others. I know that Joe has a horse or two that will be on some tickets.

She's my longshot in that race too (will be in all my exotics too.... 3-3 ITM on slop!). Probably play a small pick 3 with her singled on it too.
