scratch Super Freaky - she ran today on the turf @ KEE

Quick question, Exciting Justice ownership change?

I note the change of ownership for Exciting Justice in today's changes at Keeneland.

#3--Exciting Justice--Owners are Double S Stable and Brous Stable

Any way to know how recently the change might have taken place. Very recent? Or is it just a correction that should have been listed this way initially?

I'll throw out a tri box prayer here-Exciting Justice,Her Majesty and West Coast Swing

I would guess that Justice Farm may have recently sold or partnered Exciting Justice with the people at Double S and Brous. Double S and Brous seem to have had a piece of Atilla's Storm.
Justice farm has some mares and they seem to love to go to Glitterman(glittergem, colonial glitter..).

Thanks for the response. Anytime I see an ownership change just before a higher profile race I take note.

A cursory check shows those new owners have some broodmare action.

No worries about the Double S guy....Joe Sweedler....losing his shirt on this investment. (he made his money largely in men's apparel...and shirts!)

I've got it down... to 8 win contenders. :o

Seaside Affair probably as the top selection. West Coast Swing visually the most talented, still isn't automatic to give Arlington form a free exchange onto Keeneland. Mini Sermon is absolutely expected to be well placed and professional. Her Majesty runs big at home. Look Deep has run well on every synthetic known to man. Exciting Justice is sharp and versatile. Quota and Jibboom should love the course and distance.

Really haven't decided what to do here

Me like.. I can't seperate Justice & Swing at the top of the ticket..

jwkniska 10-20-2007 12:25 PM

Tossing Mini Sermon may be a mistake. Could easily hit the board and West Coast Swing's my top pick (horse was a monster in the 7F race at AP).

what a tough race. Where was Seaside Affair?

Jibboom ran big. I made a whopping $9.40 on a bet I probably shouldn't have wagered. (ex box: Seaside Affair,West Coast Swing, Mini Sermon,Her Majesty, Look Deep WITH/ Seaside Affair,West Coast Swing, Mini Sermon,Her Majesty, Look Deep,Exciting Justice, Quota,Jibboom = $70 paying $79.40 )

In hindsight I wish I would have also played the .10 superfecta I had in mind
- using Seaside,West Coast, and Mini Sermon as the key on 2 of the 4 slots, and using the other 8 on the other 2 levels. All 6 combinations would cost $108 and have paid $443. I just didn't want to burn my BC bank, and was scared someone like Swiss Diva would crash the party.

Keyed Super pattern
11xx = $18
xx11
1xx1
x11x
1x1x
x1x1
$18*6=$108 (payout $443)
