Four days to heaven

when Kurt Becker steps up to the mic in Lexington and says in that characteristic monotone delivery, "they're at the post". I'm am so ready to tear up this meet!

I'm not. It's going to be in the upper 80's and humid this weekend. That and burgoo don't mix.

Barry Faulkner a British presenter of American racing here, who used to work at Philadelphia Park, calls me the Hologram because he reckons that I have the ability to be at European and American tracks at the same time.

With the Arc and Keeneland on this weekend-i wish that he was right. :)

I know. My favorite jugblowing band, The Sharts, were the headliner.

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought Discreet Cat was coming back on short rest for the 400K Meadowlands Breeders Cup next Friday.

I'm sure I wasn't the only one.

I am so pissed, I am having surgery on Friday and will miss opening day....the first time in several years. At least I will have a good month of recovery.....laptop and the TV

thats a shame, i feel your pain. hope your surgery goes well and that it doesn't interfere with the rest of the meet.

i was considering going down there but I hear that they have a lot of burgoo and i wouldn't want to step in it and ruin my shoes.

Thanks Jim. Crutches for 3 months, big ankle and leg surgery. So not sure I will visit the meet or not, depends on how I am doing.

As for Burgoo, I love it....with crackers and hot sauce, and an ice cold beer...uhmmmm!!!
