SOLD! Dee Tee buys Aldebaran filly

Hip #2188, an Aldebaran filly out of the El Gran Senor mare Donna Gatto, was procurred today by Chuck Simon for Dee Tee Stables for $50,000...

Chuck was thrilled with the square price on the filly who he describes as particularly nice.. He did not expect to pay less than $65,000 for her, and was prepared to go higher...

While Donna Gatto has little to go by as a young dam, her family features Antilassa (second dam), who dropped the outstanding $1,000,000 winning NY-bred Lottsa Talc.

Congratulations and thanks to Chuck on the purchase, and further congratulations to all those getting involved in "Dee Tee #07-03"...!

Awesome Steve. Congratulations.

Is it possible for someone to find out if Donna Gatto has a 2yr old out there?

View of Roses is a 3yr old and 2188 is a yearling so one should be in the middle (as a 2yr old), if she had a foal that year.

Site is blocked for me here at work but you can go to NTRA.com, the Breeders Cup tab, and choose Nomination Verification. From there you can put in dam's name and year of birth and find that info including whether or not it has been named.

Apparently the direct link I had bookmarked worked:

https://nominations.breederscup.com/...orm.cfm?init=1

She has a 2yo El Corredor that is unnamed, an IL bred.

Name:
Sire: El Corredor
Dam: Donna Gatto
DamSire: El Gran Senor
Sex: Colt
Year Foaled: 2005
Area Foaled: IL
Status: Nominated

I believe that we have gotten a really nice filly. She has good conformation and moves well, very fluid. He xrays were very clean and her scope report was excellent. She seems sensible and has a nice frame to grow into. She is headed to Arundel Farm in Paris for a little R and R from the sales experience before she goes to be broke to saddle. I will try to get some pictures this week.
