Heartswideopen wins All American Futurity
 

Two fillies were favored today and one, Heartswideopen, gets it done. That is one fast filly. She was all over the track and went to another gear to win at the wire. She can sure motor.

She runs like a drunken sailor, but she sure DOES motor.

That was a nice TVG media piece with her trainer. I think he said "I'm an old man" on at least three different occasions.

I can't remember the last time I saw a horse running so close to the public side fence....let alone still win the race.

Ruidoso Downs is a beautiful little track.

She was definitely doing some sightseeing down the outside fence. Pretty nice return on a $32,000 sales price. No telling what her margin of victory would have been had she run straight.
