Unfortunately, I don't think it will ever be safe to go back to watching Shill For Disney, I mean Sportscenter.

Hank message was classy and nicely done.

I know a lot of people arent thrilled by this, but many still are.
either way, it doesnt change the fact that Barry Bonds now has the all time home run record.

Bonds breaking the record, I guess cheaters do win once in a while. Im sure him and Balco are enjoying an awesome dinner and some juice. As far im concerned file it in the who gives a crap category.

yay

I think, technically, Bonds now holds the American record. I think the overall record is held by some player in Japan.

Why I know that, as I don't follow baseball, I have no idea. In fact, how did I get onto this thread???? :)

You know ordinarily, I would be pretty stoked about this, but I'm over the whole baseball thing. I could care less. I think the MLB front office has ruined baseball, not steriods. Too my knowledge there has never been a positive test made public on Bonds, so as far as I'm concerned, it's legit and he deserves all the credit. As soon as Canseco went public or the Balco thing exploded, how hard would it have been to initiate mandatory testing on a continuous basis and admit to the lack of attention to that point. I just don't understand why this has to continue to be an issue. If there are "distribution" crimes going on, let the authorites take care of it, but baseball has played a major roll in its own demise....

Sadahara Oh..not sure of the spelling. More recently Oh was a manager of a team when an American was approaching his single season record, and Oh directed his pitchers to walk the guy every at bat for the last three games of the season.

Oh, harsh. I'm confused, though- was Oh the manager of the team the American was on?
