Bonds

Ok 1st stage done but....

Did anyone hear what the announcers on ESPN just said?

They attended a seminar where a group of Doctors testified that performance enhancing drugs can also enhance VISION.

I had never heard this before. I have no idea what the mechanism would be but this is what they said. That would definitely help a hitter. They said a 20/20 person could become a 20/10 very easily.

I thought it was totally a strength and/or endurance issue.

I'd seriously HAVE to see that study!! Everybody should line-up for this stuff! OH, wait, what would the eye doctors do then?

whats sad is nobody cares about the record..........its a bad thing for sports in general.

I have actually seen studies about how hand/eye coordination is improved with the right cycles of steroids. But I have also seen studies proving otherwise which is why a lot of people say the whole steroids thing doesn't help a player hit homeruns, it only helps them stay healthy. The one difference in the home runs is instead of being in the first couple of rows of seats, they are out in the damn cove.

i heard the same thing in the past tim.

but honestly, i think bonds took what he took to enable him to play longer--still cheating.

a-rod isn't a huge fan fave, but i think he's everyones odds-on to break the record in a few years anyway, so bonds will be the mcgwire of the home run record. bonds'll hold it, but maybe not for long....

he was upset that big mac and sosa ( who were, ummm aware of the hgh wonders) were stealing all the headlines, bonds who was the superior player didnt want to be left behind.
