Just got off the phone with Steve and learned Calvin Borel will be Sumwon's pilot. She is reportedly jumping out of her skin. We'll know a little later the pp and competition.

That is fantastic. I love Borel. I think he will be a great fit for her.

Never met him personally but judging from his recent interviews etc. he should be a great fit wih the DT crew as well.

i like Willie but this is VERY COOL ! we'll be on the road in a couple hrs .

I think Borel will do fine with her - he's very cool and patient, and he's doing great at this meet.

I LOVE the "jumping out of her skin" part! That's what I've been waiting to hear since she arrived at Saratoga ;)

Unfortunately I don't think so. It is not 100% that I am not coming, but looking pretty close to that right now

Cherie got a huge w/o pulling her up this morning and she didn't want to leave the track. Think that's horse talk for "LET ME RUN DAMIT"

With Sumwon, it always has been the indicator in the past! That's great news!

I like Borel - like Willie, he feels out the horse, communicates with it, is patient and quiet. He's gotten some very nice performances out of quite a few of his mounts at SAR. The horses try for him.

Great news about the rider and the desire. I, too, am jumping out of my skin to get on the road to Saratoga... only a few more hours and I'm heading out!!
