From the hip; Curlin/Hard Spun, Stormello.
|
Cable Boy is very fast
|
First inclination:
Curlin/Hard Spun/AGS/Wild and Crazy - not sold on the order but that might be my top 4 |
Haven't crunched the numbers yet but I think AGS having not run in the Belmont and then running a real nice prep may be the most ready to fire.. I'm racking my brain to try and remember the last Belmont ITM horse to accomplish anything of note afterwards... But maybe that is just my diminishing braincells.

Told ya my braincells are failing me... Now how about the last Belmont Winner that accomplished anything of signifigance after winning the Belmont.

This horse should have won the triple crown, but I am bias. :D |

I am kinda liking a Curlin/AGS box. Chalky? Yes, I admit it. |
I see no one has mentioned Cable Boy. Overrated? Or just out of his league right now?

I like Hard Spun in the Haskell, although I've heard that Any Given Saturday is training lights out. |
This is a nice field, a real nice field. Curlin should have his hands full and I look for him to finish 3rd or worse in this race.
|
anyone have the PP's?
|
The horse who breaks first wins.
I don't play Monmouth for that reason...but if I had to choose...Stormello. |
You can make an argument for nearly all these horses. It's a toss up.
