Questions about visiting SWLY

I am hoping to stop up and finally see swly tomorrow morning and I have a few questions. Can I just stop by the barn to see her around 10am? If so, where is the best place to park to get to barn 86? Any other information you can provide would be great.

Thanks in advance,
Brian

This is Cherie Sumwons' rider and Chucks assistant. 10 is fine, we will be there. You are allowed to park at the barn, we are on fifth street behind the Oklahoma training track, it is easiest to get to from East avenue. She will be going to the track at prompty 7:30 if you want to come then thats fine too.

Thanks for all you do.

Cherie, he's a guy. All senses are false, and no hope = dead.

BTW, I will be arriving in Saratoga on Saturday morning, probably between 9:00 and 9:30. Can I stop by the barn to visit Sumwon? Are you now limiting her peppermints? Is there anything else to bring as a treat (carrots, apples)?

And I echo what everyone else has written in welcoming you to Derby Trail and thanking you for taking such good care of Sumwon.:D

Thanks Cherie

Appreciate all of the work that you are doing with Sumwon.
Start the long journey from San Francisco to Saratoga early tomorrow morning. We are looking forward to meeting you and Chuck and everyone else. My daughter Lila is 8 and my son Spencer is 6 and they can't wait to see Sumwon and my two year old colt with you Wisemensue. Have you been up on Wisemen yet? How is he behaving? See you Sunday morning and once again welcome.

There aren't any restrictions on Sumwons diet. She will eat peppermints, apples, and carrots. The only time we don't feed her any treats is on race day. As long as nobody plans on giving her 10 lbs of peppermints at one time I am sure she will be fine. Past Post, Top Royelle is in very good form. I have not looked at the race on paper but she is doing well, healthy and sound. PSH- I have ridden your horse since he has gotten here from the farm. He is doing a lot better since arriving but still has a lot to learn. Right now he is still becoming accustomed to all the sights and sounds of the race track, but is progressing everyday. I hope to see you all this weekend.

How many years have you been making this trip? This will be my first time to Saratoga.

PSH 08-02-2007 08:51 PM

This will be ...

My third trip in a row after being away for 20 plus years.
Grew up in NJ and went to NYU for school and was at Saratoga in 1981 last. Moved to California in 1987 and finally made it back in 2005 and 2006. Taking my family with me for the first time and we are renting a house for a week. Really looking forward to it and looking forward to meeting all of the Dee Tee people there. Have to see how my family likes it or else it will be back to Del Mar next year.

It will probably have to be peppermints on Saturday. They travel better, and I won't know my way around Albany and Saratoga well enough to locate the apples and carrots (grocery stores) until later. Maybe the day after the race.
