what does (Dogs Up) mean?
 
i got a workout notification with the term Dogs Up ? :confused:

Dogs are markers placed out away from the rail to keep turf works from digging up the traffic areas of the turf course. (kinda like "rails out" during the races)

dogs are actually saftey cones. Same as you see during road construction.

It means that while working out, the horses are listening to: Who let the dogs out (woof, woof, woof, woof!)

I once saw a similar question posted by someone who seemed to think it was a new training method--making horses run faster by chasing them with dogs!:D
