Interesting to see Swingit back on such short rest after just taking down an allowance at Arlington last Wednesday. Looked darn good doing it though....

I hear ya B., but other than DOA...who in there is to be afraid of? Especially in a $200K race.

Don't get me wrong -- I'm thrilled to see her back in again. I know she closed in on a runaway speed horse who really looked overmatched on paper last week, but she looked just awesome doing it, regardless of the other factors.

I wonder what the price will be on Swingit....might be worth a "swing." :D

Hooves, you are absolutely correct. She should have come up to run in the Lady Canterbury (a race that she had been nominated for) last Sat. going a flat mile for 100G's. The race was won wire to wire in very slow early fractions by a horse that was just claimed for $62,500 at AP.

Interesting race. 10 days and a big ship off a huge effort for Swingit, no thanks!
Seems strange to see Jerkens ship a Grade 1 winner to VA for a non-graded stake, other than the fact her breeder/owner lives there. Could outclass the field, but her turf #s are definintely slower than her dirt efforts.
Dreaming of Anna will only be a pace factor. Why no Douglas?
Only 2 horses have won at the distance. Take a look! One of those will get my $$$. Nobody hotter than this trainer.

Silence Dogood could have distance limitations. Notice how she backs up in her longer efforts.
