What happened at Ellis?
 

HRTV hasn't shown a race there in over an hour and Brisnet hasn't reported any results after the 6th. Power outage?

Apparently there was a major storm and they had to cancel after the 6th race.

Yeah it was a MAJOR storm. 10 minutes of thunder and lightning. :rolleyes:

You can thank the tightwads at Churchill for not installing decent generators. Mr. Geary is doing a great job but Rome wasn't built overnight. To make matters worse the power is being leased from Vectren in Evansville until repairs on the twin bridges are over.

That's the second time in the past two months that Ellis has lost power.
