Wait A while

What an impressive run. IF they take the horse down for that I'm going to be sick.

Scav 07-02-2006 06:21 PM

Pretty impressive, not sure she beat a whole lot but she is a monster. Hopefully she starts to get a fast dirt track so we can bet against her

I was thinking the same thing.... it would have been something if they took her down. They sure did think it over a while! Attima stopped pretty bad. To much distance I guess, and same goes for FoxySox.

glad they left her up, i saw no reason for anyone to change position, and thankfully the stewards saw it the same way. very nice effort from that filly today, second fastest running of the race since its inception.

i thought arravale had a nice showing, considering everything she endured just to get to the gate!

while on the subject of turf fillies, when will melhor ainda hit the track?

Danzig, I'm waiting for MA as well. She's the forgotten filly because of her injury, but she's as good as any (if not better) of them if she's healthy. She's working pretty regularly but I'm a bit annoyed that Bobby may wait (as he indicated a few months ago) for the Diana. If she's ready to run, she should run.

AP Indy's having a very nice year as broodmare sire thus far - first Bluegrass Cat and now Wait a While.......I hope it continues.

This is one talented filly, great on all surfaces.

Downthestretch55 07-02-2006 08:03 PM

"talented", "impressive"...agreed.
Pletcher knows his stuff.

kentuckyrosesinmay 07-02-2006 08:45 PM

I loved this filly in this position. Always bet Pletcher when he makes these kind of moves. I knew she was going to win it in the opening quarter mile of the race. She was in perfect position and was moving so beautifully over the grass. When she turned it on, she just blew by the field. She was AWESOME!!!

Anything wrong with GG ride?

Hey, Hey.
The US has a turf winner. Boy I was really suprised the first two faded that badly, the early fractions were not that tough and they were done before the top of the stretch.

Oracle, I disagree about Wait a While on dirt; she's been horrible on anything but sloppy tracks. Her forte is turf, not dirt.......
