Derrick Fisher signs with Lakers

I love the guy, one player who "gets it" about priorities, he will be a nice addition in the locker room...but hardly a move that will bring the Lakers back to contention, him and Walton (just re-signed to a long term contract) are nice role players...but where is the "big" signing??

I hope you are right...at least they didn't invest in the "human victory cigar"!

There are no big free agents so who is going to be this mystery big signing?

He's far from done athletically, whether his mind will let him play to his potential I don't know. He was just bought-out for big bucks so he might be signed rather cheaply. He can still get 20 a game in the right system...6th man? 30 years old, career: 18ppg, 6asst, 5 rbs

Well, if I were the Lakers' ownership, KG would already be signed but I'm not...that's the kind of move that wouldn't surprise me!

Well if you were Lakers ownership you would be signing a player that is still under contract to another team so a rather large tampering fine will be headed your way.

Obviously the trade would have been made...geez!

Kobe and Kemp would have been good together back in Kemps younger days. No telling how many hotel clerks they could have mowed through on any given road trip.

I dont think signing Garnett would be the issue. Tricking McHale into taking some of the Lakers bums for him may be tricky though. Then again....maybe not.

Red Auerbach must be rolling around in his grave as bad as personel men his former players have become

McHale and Ainge are brutal, Larry is just bad.
