She barely held on but she ran her eyeballs out.
After looking at the chart and seeing the internal fractions it's obvious that Take D' Tour ran a monster race and Ginger Punch put in a decent stretch run but was defeated by a great one turn distance horse.

The first quarter was 23 which was slow but they turned it on from there.

23, 44 4/5, 1:09 1/5, 1:34 4/5, 1:41 1/5.

I don't remember the last time I saw a sub-:22 second quarter in a route race. Wow.

What a heartbreaker that would have been to lose. She really ran hard.

I think someone has a little Major Malfunction in them.

needed her as a single on the late pick 4. Thought we were cooked after seeing the second split. Held on for a $1600 pick 4. we really were lucky. Had 5 horses in the 9th but thought all was lost in the 8th. Glad she held on.
