Have been enduring first skid in an extended period last 10 days or so, and Belmont Week opening card doesn't necessarily look like spot to break out with 10k claimers, 2 N3L's and a state-bred maiden nightcap.. That said, races are intriguing..

Anyone look at this race. Quite interesting as you have Contessa horse shortening up and then you have shug's horse who freaked on the poly, but ran like crap on that mud. I love the turf work two back, pretty quick with the dogs up, think he might be the play at 2nd favorite

I'll take Shug's horse between the two - Pulpit's are 11% first time turf

But is he first turf, given that he has run over a fake turf....
