Saturday's Belmont Card

Looks amazing. 5 grass races (huge fields), 2 grade ones, while lacking in starpower are both very competitve and I doubt you'll see a horse lower than 5/2 in either.

Any early thoughts? I like Teammate's chances, Allen says the horse is training spectacularly, mayeb go off as the favorite with Bushfire at 5/2 ish.

Looks like a nice card to me also.
I'll put my picks in the "selections" section tomorrow.
Contributions and opinions welcome.

4th of July weekend, and you have your usual trainers/owners looking for an angle. We have

Mr. 4th of July

American Revoltion

Too the Republic

All 3 are entered at Belmont on Saturday.

Years ago at Monmouth or some track, all the religious named horses won on Good Friday or Easter. I don't remember which but Sports Illustrated had a little blurb on it.
