2nd Belmont
Pletcher has a first-timer in here that can run. Don't let the slow works fool you. This colt worked :21 1/5 at the Ocala March Sale, which was the fastest work of the day at the first preview. He was a $290,000 buy-back. I didn't love the horse, but he can definitely run. He didn't make my list but I still think he will be tough today. He's kind of a big, long-striding horse. So I don't know if he will necessarily be that quick from the gate. I would have preferred an outside post just in case he doesn't break that quick.
Anyway, I wouldn't make a big bet on him but I can tell you that he has a lot more ability than you would be able to tell based on his slow works in the Form. |
already down to 3/2 on the tote....ward is good with 2 yr olds

I see Grandcentral Parkway is in there as well.
Wasn't he the subject of his own thread at some point? |
