I didn't quite understand if Lukas will be only training for Whitney, or if he will keep his current string?

When I see the words "private trainer", to me it indicates only for her. but I'm probably wrong

No, you are correct. Abreu was an ass't trainer to Zito. MLWhitney hired Abreu when Zito declined to become her "private trainer" after the Bird Town/Birdstone run a few years ago.

talked to DWL at CD today and he is NOT giving up any of his current horses. He will be the only trainer MLW employs but her 15 or so head will just be an addition to his string at CD

I was wrong again, I couldn't see him giving up all his horses just to train the 15 she had. I hope he does very well with her charges.

I'm sure all of his current horses are extremely distraught to hear this.
